Yes, you can absolutely use your own brushes for painting. If you want to use a pencil to sketch your design, use a soft pencil to avoid leaving marks on the ceramic surface.

We recommend mixing a drop of water into your paint. This makes the paint easier to work with.

Unfortunately, the advent calendar cannot be painted in our studios.

The finished pieces can be dropped off individually or all together. We will glaze and fire the pottery, and it will be ready for collection one week later. There is no time limit for when you need to drop off your artwork.

You can easily transport your ceramic advent calendar by bike. We recommend transporting your finished pottery in the box that the advent calendar came in to ensure the best possible protection.

Everyone can participate, children and adults alike.

Please write your initials on the bottom of the pottery using a brush so we can easily identify your artwork after firing.
